Breezy Point Marina and Fishing Center is just 26 miles from the Washington Beltway. Take Route 4 south from the Beltway 24 miles to a left on Ponds Woods Road. Follow Ponds Woods Road to the end. Turn left on Route 261. Go ¼ mile to green sign “Breezy Point”. Turn right. Follow signs one mile to marina. Breezy Point Fishing Center is a full service convenience store.

“Reel Time” is a 33’ x 12’ Tiara Sportfish with a clean private restroom, Coast Guard licensed and insured for up to 6 passengers. Twin engines ensure a fast and safe trip to and from the fishing grounds. Captain Jim fishes without a mate (saves you money) and is dedicated to making your Chesapeake adventure a safe and fun experience. We can customize your trip to you and your party. Be it kids, customers, family, friends, novice or expert angler. Multiple boat trips available for large groups – have your own tournament!







Welcome to Chesapeake Adventures Sportfishing aboard the 33’ Tiara Sportfish
 “Reel Time”. Fishing from Breezy Point MD a 30 minute drive from the Washington DC Beltway.  This is one of the finest areas to go Charter Boat fishing around the Maryland Chesapeake bay.

Our season starts mid April, when our #1 quarry is trophy striped bass. If world class striper fishing is what you want, be sure to be aboard April 15 to May 15.  This is your opportunity to catch that fish of a lifetime.Chesapeake Bay Fishing Stripers up to 60 lbs are traveling our waters through May. Late May things heat up when giant Black Drum up to 80 lbs start their migration through our portion of the bay and bottom fishing gets started with Atlantic Croaker.  Check out the fishing report for more details --->       Fishing Report

Early June the Sea trout and Flounder action picks up in the middle Chesapeake Bay area. During this time we fish light tackle, jigging for Trout or drifting for Flounder. Our Flounder regulations have changed this year. ItChesapeake Bay Charter Boat Fishing Success should make for an excellent fishery. Also in June we start chumming and light tackle fishing for Stripers, Trout and Croakers, as well as bottom fishing for Croakers, Spot and Trout – this is a great time for kids!

July through October is when the warm water species show up, such as Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout and Red Fish. All can be taken on light spinning tackle. Early July is when the Chesapeake Bay Charter Boat Fishing Success
“Reel Time” makes its trip to Cape Charles, Va and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel for two weeks. We fish for Cobia, Sharks, Red Fish, Flounder, Trout and Spadefish. Call early to check dates.

Back to Breezy Point for the Fall (September through November) when the mixed bag fishing can be great. Trout, Rockfish, Flounder and Spanish Mackerel all feed heavily prior to their migration out of the bay.
